Biography

Zimu Bao is a research assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He holds a BEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton. His work explores the integration of extended reality (XR), Internet of Things (IoT), and digital fabrication technologies to build interactive systems that connect physical and virtual environments. He has led or contributed to various projects involving spatial computing, immersive design tools, and physical-virtual prototyping.
