Biography

Zilu Wang is a PhD student in Design Production at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He holds an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton and a BEng in Digital Media Technology from Xiamen University. His research interests include XR technology, game design and development, and gamification, with current work extending into cultural heritage and conservation. He investigates how XR visualization, AI-driven interaction, and digital twin technologies can enhance the preservation, interpretation, and revitalization of cultural sites, narratives, and artifacts.
