Biography

Yuhong Wu (Erwin) is a human–computer interaction researcher and AI agent developer. He received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, and his master's degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, where he was awarded a full scholarship. He has worked as a research assistant at the Huzhou Institute of Zhejiang University and the City University of Hong Kong.

Erwin has published four research papers in leading conferences and journals, including CAAD Futures and SIGGRAPH Asia. He also has extensive industry experience in software and AI development, having worked at Huawei, Alibaba, and Shopee.

His research interests lie at the intersection of human–computer interaction and artificial intelligence. His current research investigates how non-expert users specify their needs during residential renovation projects, with a particular focus on the participatory role of large language models in supporting interaction, communication, and needs specification.
