Biography
Yuhao Li is a cross-disciplinary designer and researcher from Mainland China, currently serving as a Research Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His work sits at the intersection of immersive media, game-based learning, and XR interaction, with a strong focus on urban sustainability. He received his MA in Digital Learning and Technology from The Education University of Hong Kong (graduated with distinction; ranked first in program GPA). Bridging academia and industry, he integrates IoT, digital twins, and real-time rendering into XR experience design and educational innovation.His portfolio spans new media storytelling, interactive installations, XR scene building, and learning technology evaluation, emphasizing data-informed and user-centered methodologies. Building on this foundation, his research extends to immersive narratives and urban memory, behavior change mechanisms in gamified environments, and applications of XR/Phygital systems in public education and smart cities. He has served as a workshop tutor at CAADRIA, participated in XR exhibition-making. His long-term goal is to fuse advanced computation with human-centered interaction to drive cross-sector innovation in culture, education, and urban sustainability.
