Biography

Lora is a multidisciplinary researcher and designer currently serving as an external member at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University AI & Innovation Design Joint Lab. Her research focuses on the intersection of spatial narratives, Mixed Reality (MR), and serious games, with a particular emphasis on data-driven optimization for educational environments. She holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture Design from Southwest University, where she graduated top of her class. Bridging the gap between academic research and industry practice, Yufei has extensive experience in immersive experience design. Previously at Shanghai Disney Resort, she leveraged spatial storytelling and interactive logic to decode consumer psychology and enhance IP-based retail experiences. Currently, she leads the development of MR educational products & AI products, utilizing quantitative methods—such as large-sample behavioral analysis and physiological sensing—to bridge physical and virtual learning spaces. Her interdisciplinary work has been published in high-impact journals like Science of The Total Environment, and her latest research on hybrid reality learning spaces has been accepted for presentation at CAADRIA 2025.
