Biography

Zheng Hongkai is a multidisciplinary designer, researcher, and digital media practitioner focusing on Extended Reality (XR), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and interactive digital experiences. With a background in design, computer science, game development, and real-time graphics, he explores how emerging technologies can reshape digital environments and human experiences.

With extensive experience in interactive media production, Zheng has worked on real-time rendering, technical art, virtual environments, and immersive applications using Unreal Engine, Unity, and XR platforms. His work integrates creative design with computational technologies, including immersive storytelling, interactive systems, and AI-assisted workflows.

His research focuses on the intersection of XR, artificial intelligence, and spatial computing, exploring applications in cultural heritage, education, serious games, and digital experiences. Through interdisciplinary approaches combining design and technology, he aims to develop innovative frameworks for future interactions between humans, digital environments, and intelligent systems.
