Biography
Ceci Chen Xi is currently a PhD student at the School of Design, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Architecture) and a Master of Design degree (Architecture/Urban/Biosphere Environments Design). Her work involves architectural design, community design, urban and rural planning, architectural conservation, and design education. Chen is an interdisciplinary researcher who previously served as a research associate for the GBA smart aging community design project and as a research assistant at AICID Lab for the XR rural conservation and tourism planning project. She also worked as a public art tutor at an art university. Now she continues to explore how emerging technologies can preserve living heritage and foster an inclusive urban future.
